He ﷺ was:
- not excessively tall nor short
- neither pale of dark
- hair was neither wavy or straight
- passed away with no more than 20 white hairs on his head
- Proportionate body
- Broad shouldered
- hair generally reaching his shoulders, although on occasions reaching his earlobes or the middle of his ears
- let hair hang over his forehead, but later he began to part it
- he would comb is hair and beard
- would apply antimony to each eye thrice every night when going to sleep
- Dense beard
- a slight roundness to his face
- intensely black pupils of eye
- long eyelashes
- fine line of hair stretching chest to his navel (like a thin branch)
- He walked with determination as if he was walking downhill
- his face would shine like the moon
- He had pleasant voice
- His cheekbones did not protrude
- his mouth was wide
- his stomach and chest were in level
- he had a quantity of hair on his shoulders, forearms and upper chest
- he had long upper arms, wide palms and thick fingers
- there was redness in the white part of his eye
- his heels were not fleshy
- in between his shoulders was the seal of the prophethood like the button of a curtain canopy or pigeons egg
- when he walked, it was as if the the earth folder for hiim
- the companions would exhert themselves to keep up with him, while he continue to walk with ease
- His favorite clothing was the tunic (khamis), white garments and hubrah (type of red striped upper garments)
- He ﷺ shirt sleeves would reach his wrist
- on various occasions he wore a red striped hullah (two piece suit consisting of waist wrapper and a wrapper for the upper body or a lined garment)
- two garments dyed with usfur,
- a tight sleeved quilted double upper garment (jubba)
- a gown (quba)
- a black turban whose tails he let hang over his shoulders
- a black mirt (unstitched wraparound) made of animal hair
- he would wear a ring, khuffs (leather socks), and sandals
