    • he ﷺ freed him
    • he passed away on the day Umar became Caliph
  5. Anasah, whom he ﷺ freed
  6. Shuqran, who’s name was Salih,
    • reported inherited from his father or bought from Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf and freed
  7. Rabah, the black Nubian
    • he would occasionally permit people to enter his ﷺ room whe he would be alone
    • he ﷺ freed him
  8. Yasar, the Nubian shepahed, he was killed by Uraniyyin
  9. Abu Rafi Aslam, who was given to him as a gift from al-Abbas
    • He freed him on the good news that al-Abbas accepting Islam
    • married him off to his slave woman Salma, who later bore his son Ubayd Allah
  10. Abu Muwayhibah, who he ﷺ freed
  11. Fadalah, who died in Sham
  12. Rafi, the slave of Sa’id ibn al-As, whom he freed
  13. Mid’am, who was given to him as a gift by Rafā’ah al-Judhāmī and was killed in Wādī al-Qurā.
  14. Karkarah the Nubian, who was given to him as a gift by Hudhah ibn ‘Alī and was freed by him.

  24. Abū ‘Asīb, whose name is Aḥmar.

  26. Safīnah, who was owned by Umm Salamah.
    • She freed him on the condition that he serve the Prophet ﷺ throughout his life; his name was Rabāḥ, and it has also been said it was Mahrān.
  27. Abū Hind, whom he ﷺ freed.
  28. Anjashah al-Hādī.
  29. Abū Lubābah.

And scholars have enumerated more than mentioned above.

Female slaves

  1. Salmā Umm Rāfi‘: The wife of Abū Rāfi‘, whom the Prophet ﷺ inherited from his father.
  2. Māriyah: (Also known as Māriyah al-Qibṭiyyah), who was given as a gift from al-Muqawqis.
  3. Rayḥānah.
  4. Qayṣar: The sister of Māriyah.
  5. Maymūnah bint Sa‘d.
  6. Khaḍirah.
  7. Raḍwā.

Ibn al-Jawzī stated the Prophet ﷺ had forty three makes freed slaves and eleven slave-women in total, may Allah be pleased with them all, though they were not all with him at the same time.
